3. Activities to practice

  • Advice for pregnant women,
  • supervision and provision of care during pregnancy,
  • personal management of childbirth,
  • participation in at least one birth in the end-of-pelvic position,
  • perineal incision and  inspection of birth tract injuries,
  • supervision and care of women with  high-risk pregnancies,
  • obstetric surveillance and care, including examinations in parturients and healthy newborns,
  • supervision and care of parturients and newborns requiring special care, including care of premature and preterm newborns, low birth weight newborns and pathological newborns,
  • care for women with pathological findings in gynaecology and obstetrics.
