3. Activities to practice

  • Effective oral and written communication (communication in Czech and in two world languages with customers, suppliers of services and goods and co-workers - active listening, empathy with the situation, estimating the client and conducting negotiations according to the customer typology, negotiating price, discounts, invoice due dates, asking questions, objections and managing them),
  • use of information systems (Outlook, information and reservation systems, databases, searching for information from various sources),
  • processing administrative matters (filling in travel orders, work statements, writing a report from a business trip, drawing up minutes from meetings, writing formal letters - orders, applications, invitations, preparing and administering projects and project documentation including attachments, processing documents in accordance with rules of the uniform visual style of the organisation, commenting on them, keeping records or inventories, drawing up a press release),
  • manipulation of available technology (computer, laptop, camera, microphone, music system, data projector ...),
  • preparation of documents for meetings or decisions (preparation of specific documents for a decision by the council or the municipal or regional council, preparation of documents for the creation of a contract or the award of a tender or public contract),
  • complaint handling according to the legislation in force, law, public finance, management of accommodation facilities, management of travel agencies and agencies, business economics, applied social psychology, tourism 1, European economic integration,
  • activity of a guide or delegate, (application of knowledge of AETR, preparation of client check-in - air ticket, vouchers, bus departure, airport check-in, first aid, destination organization in cooperation with parent CK and partner in place, administrative activities in destination - organization of transfers, records of sales of trips, reports on individual tours, handling client complaints, accompaniment on optional trips),
  • sale or purchase of a product or service, (calculation of the product and services, application of the general and guarantee conditions of a given service or product, selection of the most suitable travel insurance for clients, control of payments by customers and commission vendors, internet sales),
  • keeping the company's accounts,
  • preparation of various forms of promotion (preparation of participation in a trade fair or other presentation event, assistance in the booth during the event, publishing publications, periodicals, printed materials - selection and editing of photographs, documents with respect to copyright compliance, preparation of texts for advertising leaflets, approaching companies with a request to prepare an offer, updating websites, creating differentiated texts professionally focused on different target groups, e.g. Children from kindergarten or primary school, foreign or domestic visitors),
  • presentation in front of the audience and performance on stage (preparation of animation activities - organizational, personnel, material and economic provision of each activity and their realization, creation of animation scenarios with evaluation of each realized event),
  • preparation and implementation of sports activities (organisational, personnel, material and economic provision of each activity, preparation of the sports ground including equipment),
  • translations to/from foreign languages, handling of officially certified translations,
  • organization of congress tourism events (conferences, seminars, business meetings of various levels: lists of participants for the event, creation or distribution of invitations to the event, creation of the event schedule, organization of the accompanying program - excursions - incl. Negotiations with service providers - arranging accommodation for participants, negotiations with service providers - arranging catering for participants including selection of suitable menu, table arrangements, organizational services during the event),
  • working at the reception desk (check-in and check-out of guests, entering guest preferences into the system, entering rooming list into the system and assigning rooms to guests, booking cultural, social and sporting events in the city), conducting room inspections (drawing up the daily maid schedule),
  • preparation and execution of catering services (independent preparation of cold plates, creation of menus or daily menus, preparation of food and beverage calculations, creation of catering event budget - banquet, reception, banquet, assistance in preparation of hot dishes, assistance in preparation of desserts, preparation of table for breakfast, lunch, dinner and festive occasions, proper serving of food according to the type of food, recommendation of appropriate daily specials, recommendation of appropriate wine for food, serving food and drink at special events, explaining and recommending regional gastronomic specialties).
