Description of the place of practice

The student must complete a work experience in such entities that will allow him/her to practice at least one of the areas defined in chapter Activities to practice, and at an appropriate professional level - work experience cannot be defined as the mechanical performance of non-professional or auxiliary activities (building computers, selling computers, working in a warehouse, etc.). The student must be assigned a responsible person whose expertise is at least at the level of B.Sc. (in exceptional cases this regulation may be waived) to be responsible for the professional content of the internship for the duration of the internship.

The entity (firm) offering the internship should meet the following requirements, among others:

• can engage the student in solving actual and real-world problems using current technologies and methods
• has sufficient professional potential to help the student expand his/her knowledge and skills
• has the staff capacity to provide expert guidance and supervision to the student
• allows the student to be involved in the processes of the organisation (regular meetings, etc.)
• enable the student to participate in the team activity and work control system
• can offer the student a topic for his/her bachelor thesis

In particular, the entity (company) offering the internship should specify in the internship offer:

• the exact job position, including, for example, the development environment in which the student will be working during the internship (example: engineer - Siemens NX) - see also Description of the internship course
• what the student will learn (example: creating 3D models, meeting customer requirements efficiently)
• whether the student is offered any financial compensation
• will the student be provided with meals or accommodation
