Recognition of Practical Placements

Students may apply for the recognition of the courses ‘Practical Placement 1’ and ‘Practical Placement 2’ in the same way as for other courses. The procedure is governed by the Study and Examination Regulations of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. In accordance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava, "a placement may also be recognised on the basis of professional experience gained outside college studies”.

When applying for the recognition of practical placement completed outside the degree programme, students must submit:

• confirmation from their employer verifying their employment as a Social Worker. The confirmation must include the employee's job title, employment status (full-time equivalent), duration of employment, and description of their duties.
