7. Practice evaluation

Criteria for the comprehensive assessment of a student in professional practice:

• Ability to integrate theoretical knowledge and skills into the implementation of the nursing process,
• Correctness and thoroughness of performed procedures according to the standards of the health care facility,
• skill, speed, quality,
• attitude to patient, ability to empathize,
• willingness, tactfulness in dealing,
• appearance, personal grooming (according to Decree No. 195/2005 Coll.),
• punctuality,
• organisation of work, level of cooperation in the nursing team,
• initiative, self-activity,
• adherence to the principles of occupational health and safety,
• keeping a Professional Practice Diary.
